Todo el mundo ha oído hablar del dengue, ya saben el daño que causa a la salud y saber cómo luchar contra ella. ¿Y por qué esta enfermedad sigue haciendo muchas víctimas?

La respuesta es muy simple: la gente deja el enemigo vivo en su casas.É muy común el brasileño piensa que el gobierno es el que lo haga todo. Es evidente que el gobierno tiene una gran responsabilidad de cuidar la salud de la población.

Hacer campañas de educación, producir y distribuir medicamentos y equipos (compra cuando no se puede producir en Brasil), la inversión en la investigación científica, contratan a los servidores para satisfacer las demandas de la población en todas las ciudades, es decir, sí, la función y la responsabilidad del gobierno, tanto en los niveles municipal, estatal y federal.

El cuidado de la salud individual, es la tarea exclusiva de todos los ciudadanos, en relación con el dengue, una gran parte de la población no hace su parte, la cual no es dejar que el mosquito Aedes Aegypti, que viven en sus hogares.

En mi experiencia de haber trabajado en el Programa de Lucha contra el Dengue en Mossoró-RN Hall, muchos residentes están esperando que cada dos meses, el agente de la enfermedad endémica pasan en sus hogares y poner el larvicida en los depósitos de agua abiertos (que muchos llaman hasta veneno o producto), mientras que ellos mismos pueden y deben eliminar la cría, o la imposibilidad de eliminación total, al ver que el mosquito no proliferan en sus hogares.

La falta de conciencia en la lucha contra el dengue no es exclusivo de Mossoro, pero en todo Brasil. Afortunadamente en algunas ciudades del Brasil, los municipios, a través del Departamento de Vigilancia de la Salud, formado por gerentes éticos, competentes y responsables están dando respuestas satisfactorias a esta situación. El dengue es una enfermedad controlable cuando no lucha eficazmente.

Mientras que la población no es consciente de que es el protagonista en la lucha contra el dengue y el público no puede cambiar sus estrategias, que desde hace más de cuarenta años no está funcionando, el mosquito Aedes aegypti continuará en ganar, y vivir dentro de nuestros hogares.

Everyone has heard about dengue, already know the damage it causes to health and to know how to fight it. And why this disease is still making many victims?

Es inconcebible que una criatura tan pequeña como Aedes aegypti causar mucho daño a la salud de la población brasileña y mundial, obligando al gobierno, los tres niveles de gobierno: los gobiernos federales, estatales y municipales gastan grandes cantidades de recursos financieros para luchar contra este insecto, pero las estrategias utilizadas cada vez resultan ineficaces.

Este mosquito es invencible? Bueno, hasta ahora ...

Mesmo neste pequeno orifício, a fêmea do mosquito entra nesta caixa aberta, (o morador pensa que está fechada) põe os ovos, daí nascem centenas de novos mosquitos.

Todo mundo já ouviu falar sobre a dengue, já sabe dos estragos que ela causa a saúde e sabe até  como combatê-la. E por que esta doença ainda continua fazendo muitas vítimas?

A resposta é muito simples: as pessoas deixam o inimigo morar em suas casas.É muito comum ao brasileiro achar que o poder público é quem deve fazer tudo. Evidentemente que o poder público tem a grande responsabilidade de cuidar da saúde população.

Fazer campanhas educativas, produzir e distribuir remédios e equipamentos (comprar quando não for possível produzir no Brasil), investir em pesquisas científicas, contratar servidores para atender as demandas da população em todas as cidades, isto é sim, função e responsabilidade do poder público, tanto no âmbito municipal, estadual e federal.

Cuidar da saúde individual, é tarefa exclusiva de cada cidadão, em relação a dengue, grande parte da população brasileira não faz a sua parte, que é não deixar o mosquito Aedes Aegypti, morar em suas casas.

Pela minha experiência de ter trabalhado no Programa de Combate a Dengue na Prefeitura de Mossoró-RN, muitos moradores ficam esperando que de dois em dois meses os Agente de Endemias passem em suas casas e coloquem o larvicida em depósitos de água abertos( muitos chamam até veneno ou produto), quando eles mesmos podiam e deviam eliminar os criadouros, ou na impossibilidade de eliminação total, cuidar para que o mosquito não se prolifere em suas residências.

A falta de conscientização no combate à dengue não é exclusividade de Mossoró, mas em todo o Brasil. Felizmente em algumas cidades brasileiras, as prefeituras municipais, através do Depto de Vigilância Sanitária, compostas por gestores éticos, competentes e responsáveis estão dando respostas satisfatórias para esta situação. Dengue é uma doença controlável, quando se combate com eficiência.

Enquanto a população não se conscientizar que é a protagonista no combate a dengue e o poder publico não mudar suas estratégias, que há mais de quarenta anos não vem dando certo, o mosquito Aedes Aegypti vai continuar nos vencendo, e morando dentro das nossas casas.
